<b>Why does my central home heater shut off on its own after running for a little while?</b></br>My thermostat green light is on. I have to go open the heater and push the button on top. This is happening a lot lately. Last year it happened a few times and then I had no problem for the remainder of the winter season, but this year it happens all the time.
